Description
Primitivo is an Italian red grape that produces very intense, dark, bold, ruby red wines with a spicy and fruity nose. Primitivo has smooth flavours of blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice. It is warm and soft on the palate, with great structure, persistence, and a high alcohol content. Originally from Croatia, Primitivo found its true home on the eroded limestone plateaus of Puglia.
